Canoe & Kayak has been serving the paddlesports community for over 15 years. We started out as just a seasonal roadside rental, but over the years we have expanded into a full service paddlesports retailer. Our main location in Portlandville, NY is located right on the Susquehanna River just above Goodyear Lake. Since water level is controlled by a dam we have consistent water levels year round, and 13 miles of flat, calm water; perfect for demos and rentals for all skill levels.

During the summer months we also operate two satellite rental locations on Otsego Lake in Cooperstown, NY. This is a glacial formed lake just like the Finger Lakes, and its crystal blue water and stunning views are worth the trip.

We offer free instruction with every rental to ensure that everyone has the best time possible on the water, and our local staff are a great resource to plan trips and direct you to other great food and activities in the area.
